REVEAL THE MURDERER
Character Cards
BILLY MORGANProfessional gambler, wealthy traveler, married to Josephine Morgan
Billy, married to Josephine, is a sharp, cocky, man of riches; all attributed to his gambling hand. Luck of the draw, some may say, but fact of the matter is, Morgan’s been a card shark since day one. Whiskey in one hand and cards in the other, this hot-shot gambler made a name for himself as the “Ace of Dicer”. He lives up to his name everyday, gambling until the odds are in his favor.
What he lacks in gunslinging, he makes up for in 5 card draw. He always says, “why holster a gun, when you can win on a run?” A philosophy that has kept him traveling from city to city to be the highroller he is known for, Josephine by his side. Principles:
¤ Known to never carry a pistol, but who needs to when your hired man is Roy Ringo?!
|
JOSEPHINE MORGANWife of Billy Morgan/Moderate gambler
A dazzling beauty and a fine gambler. She is always dressed to impress. Her mini revolver as her favorite accessory, holstered in her garter belt for emergency reasons. In a man's world she handles herself pretty damn well, thanks to Ringo, who cleans up her messes. It’s all part of the job, but these days he’s rewarded… graciously.
Josephine has as much of a gambling problem as her husband Billy, but her sharp tongue and competitive spirit sometimes gets her into trouble. Not afraid of voicing her opinion, whether right or wrong. Her outspoken nature has gotten the Morgan’s in some dangerous crossroads. Principles:
¤ Carries a mini revolver in her garter belt.
¤ Is in an affair with Roy Ringo. |
ROY RINGOThe Morgan's hired gun
Ringo is the highest paid gunsman in the state of Mississippi, and the handsomest. Young, quick and quiet, Roy is protector of the Morgan’s. Of all the messes Josephine tends to start, there is nothing too dangerous Roy can’t handle. With his passionate love for her, he has no place he’d rather be, than protecting Mrs. Morgan.
Principles:
¤ Is in love with Josephine Morgan.
¤ Highest paid gunsman in the state of Mississippi. |
The Sheriff (Clayton Fletcher)The law of Ketchum City
The Sheriff has been keeping the peace and the city safe for many years. Once an outlaw, once a killer, now protector of Ketchum. Occasionally, the Sheriff will stop by the Casino Club Saloon to keep things from getting out of hand. It’s a dangerous job, but Fletcher has what it takes to keep things civil. A quick draw, he usually only needs to flash the revolver in his holster to quiet a dispute. A respected lawman, free of alcohol and tobacco. The Sheriff never mixes pleasure with business, at least not anymore.
Principles:
¤ Was in a gang with McGee back in the day.
|
Butch McGeeDrunk, Gambler, Outlaw, Local
The town drunk and gambler, McGee is known for his share of bar fights. Short fused and a stubborn loser, this man plays by his rules and no one else's. Not much is known of McGee’s past, besides the occasional drunk story. Whether it’s true or not is a different old saw; as McGee’s known for his bluffing. Due to his wide girth and obsession toward drinking, he’s a hard one to miss.
Principles:
¤ McGee’s lucky chip, dated 1870.

Tucker ThompsonOwner of the Casino Club Saloon/Co-Owner with Edely
Tucker Thompson, owner of the infamous Casino Club Saloon. Known as one of the best gambling joints north of Mississippi. A middle age man, greyish beard, a true businessman, but as dangerous as a cold stone killer. He’s a good bartender, but even better shot, with his revolver in one holdester and a knife in the other. These weapons have seen many deaths, wounds to prove it, and a wall to show it. On the wall of the Saloon hangs all the deadman’s hats, from floor to the rooftop, a reminder to his patrons what will happen if you let your ego get the best of you.
Tucker is a man of few words and when he does speak, it’s not to conversate. A man with no wife and no lover, due to a disturbing memory, a massacre. His wife died by a group of unknown gunslingers in the winter of 1870. He speaks very little, ever since that hideous day. Principles:
¤ Keeps a photo of his deceased wife wearing a locket he gave her.

MRS. EdleyWaitress
Waitressing is a tough job for a woman in this town, but Edely is the right woman for the job. Arrogant, dirty mouth, a bigger woman, she helps run the show with Tucker at the Casino Club Saloon in Ketchum, Mississippi. Tucker keeps the peace & Edely keeps the patrons… satisfied, real floozy, if you will! No is not in this woman’s vocabulary. If you call her the town courtesan your face might meet her fist. But with that said, she still gets the respect very few women recieve, loved by everyone… literally, hated by few. A married woman at one point, until the 1870 massacre, a story she rarely tells.
